1. Compliance summary

Jooni designs products to meet applicable environmental and materials regulations for the regions in which we market and sell, including RoHS and REACH requirements. We maintain supplier declarations and supporting evidence and make documentation available to customers upon request.

2. RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)

  • Products are designed to comply with the RoHS substance thresholds (e.g., Pb, Hg, Cd, Cr(VI), PBB, PBDE, and RoHS‑3 phthalates).
  • Supplier CoCs and test reports are retained; any necessary exemptions (if used for a specific SKU) are tracked.
  • Material changes are managed under our change control with impact review (see Lifecycle & PCN).

3. REACH / SVHC

  • We monitor candidate SVHC updates and engage suppliers for timely disclosures.
  • SVHC statements and, where applicable, SCIP notifications can be provided on request.

4. Material declarations

  • Upon request, we can provide BOM or part‑level declarations (e.g., IPC‑1752A format) for supported SKUs.
  • Declarations reflect supplier data and are updated as part of our change management process.

5. Conflict minerals (3TG)

  • We support responsible sourcing and can provide the latest CMRT upon request.
  • Suppliers are expected to source from conformant smelters/refiners where feasible.

6. Forced‑labor prevention (UFLPA) diligence

We implement risk‑based supply‑chain diligence to screen for forced‑labor risks and align with applicable regulations (e.g., UFLPA). See our Human Rights Policy for program details.

7. WEEE, take‑back & packaging

  • Where applicable for EU distribution, devices are marked appropriately and recycling/disposal guidance is provided.
  • Producer responsibility and registrations are handled per country requirements where we serve as producer.
  • Packaging meets applicable requirements; see Sustainable materials & packaging below.

8. California Proposition 65

Where required, we provide Prop 65 warnings in product literature or labeling.

9. Sustainable materials & packaging

  • Preference for recycled and recyclable materials in packaging and printed inserts.
  • Use of biodegradable or compostable dunnage where feasible; minimization of single‑use plastics.
  • Right‑sized cartons to reduce material use and transport volume; consolidation when possible.
  • Supplier guidance to avoid excessive inner wrapping and to label materials for recycling streams.
