Temperature

  • Operating: −40°C to +85°C (industrial range), unless otherwise specified in the product datasheet.
  • Storage: per SKU; typically broader than operating range.
  • Thermal performance validated under representative load and airflow assumptions.

Humidity & altitude

  • Relative humidity: non‑condensing; per SKU limits listed in the product datasheet.
  • Operating altitude: per SKU; derating may apply at high altitude.

Shock & vibration

  • Validated to applicable IEC 60068 methods where required by the use case (e.g., 60068‑2‑27 shock, 60068‑2‑64 random vibration).
  • Packaging validated for typical shipment conditions.

ESD & EMI/EMC

  • ESD immunity guidance per IEC 61000‑4‑2 referenced in product documentation.
  • EMI/EMC performance aligned with regional certification requirements (see RF Compliance & Certifications).

Electrical & power

  • Input voltage ranges and power budgets are specified per SKU/datasheet.
  • Integrators should provide protections appropriate to the application (e.g., over‑current, reverse‑polarity, surge as needed).
  • For mains‑powered end products, safety compliance (e.g., IEC/EN 62368‑1) is the integrator’s responsibility.

Enclosure & ingress protection

  • Board‑level modules do not carry an IP rating; enclosure selection and gasketing are integrator responsibilities.
  • Where Jooni provides enclosed SKUs, any IP rating will be listed in the datasheet; maintain seals and cable glands to preserve rating.
  • Avoid condensation; provide drain/vent features where environmental cycling is expected.

Storage & transport

  • Store within the specified temperature/humidity limits; protect from ESD and moisture per MSL handling (JEDEC J‑STD‑033) where applicable.
  • Use antistatic packaging and cushioning appropriate for vibration/shock in transit.

Thermal management & duty cycle

  • Ensure adequate heatsinking/airflow for continuous operation at peak load and ambient extremes.
  • Observe radio duty‑cycle or power derating guidance in the datasheet to meet thermal and regulatory limits.

Outdoor & corrosive environments

  • For marine/coastal or industrial atmospheres, use corrosion‑resistant enclosures/fasteners; consider IEC 60068‑2‑52 (salt fog) as applicable.
  • Protect connectors and exposed metals; apply conformal coating only if approved for the SKU.

Note: Per‑SKU datasheets prevail where they differ from the general targets above.

Integrator responsibilities: Maintain compliance of the finished product (safety, RF, EMC, environmental) and re‑evaluate if changes alter RF or thermal characteristics.
